Presides over meetings and supervises the overall functioning and activities of the Panchayat.Vice President: Discharges duties and responsibilities in the absence of the President.Ward Members: Elected representatives chosen from each ward of the Panchayat.Standing Committees: Sub-committees such as Finance, Development, Welfare, and Health and Education.

The panchayat is bounded by Pattanchery and Puthunagaram panchayats and the Gayathripuzha River to the north, Pattanchery and Muthalamada panchayats to the east, and Pallassana panchayat to the south and west.
