1. Standing Committees 

  1. Finance Standing Committee

    • Representative: Ward 11 – P. A. Rajeev

    • Role: Ex-officio chaired by Vice President; manages budget, audit reports, tax collections, and expenditures.

  2. Development Standing Committee

    • Representative: Ward 13 – Radhika A.

    • Role: Oversees production sectors including agriculture, animal husbandry, housing, minor irrigation, and electricity.

  3. Welfare Standing Committee

    • Representative: Ward 2 – Saraswathi

    • Role: Focuses on SC/ST development, women & child welfare, social security pensions, Kudumbashree, and public distribution.

  4. Health & Education Standing Committee

    • Representative: Ward 7 – Praveena Mahesh

    • Role: Manages public schools, Anganwadis, PHCs, sanitation/waste management, drinking water, and cultural/sports events.

2. Statutory & Monitoring Committees

  • Working Groups: Prepares annual development project proposals.

  • Steering Committee: Coordinates between standing committees and resolves administrative bottlenecks.

  • Ward Development Committee (WDC): Ward-level planning body chaired by the Ward Member.

  • Beneficiary Committees: Executes local public works transparently without third-party contractors.

  • Sanitation Committee: Monitors Haritha Karma Sena and door-to-door waste collection.

  • Internal Complaints Committee (ICC): POSH Act 2013 committee addressing workplace sexual harassment.

  • Jagratha Samithi: Quasi-judicial local body chaired by the Panchayat President for handling domestic abuse, dowry, and violence complaints.

  • Biodiversity Management Committee (BMC): Preserves local biodiversity and maintains the People's Biodiversity Register (PBR).

  • Tree Committee: Regulates cutting of hazardous/public trees.
